Jason Perez is a designer, curator, and cultural archivist whose work blurs the lines between desire, anonymity, and aesthetics. Grounded in queer culture and the ephemeral nature of smut, Jason’s practice explores how we produce, preserve, and remix the artifacts of pleasure and identity. Whether through storytelling, digital design, or the joyful act of collecting, their work is a playful yet rigorous inquiry into what we keep, what we let go, and how these choices shape both personal memory and public history. By day, Jason moves between the roles of researcher, provocateur, and organizer—part librarian, part mischief-maker—while also consulting as a product and brand designer to craft experiences that are meaningful, human, and alive.

Their current explorations focus on the tensions between private and public, surface and subterranean, and the ways digital and physical worlds mirror and influence each other. Jason’s creative projects often serve as portals for community, experimentation, and growth—spaces where archiving meets play, and curiosity becomes a catalyst for connection. They draw inspiration from Brooklyn’s vibrant nightlife, the tactility of odd little artifacts, and a deep commitment to accessibility, self-reflection, and collective joy.
